Checking visitor handicaps when registering back to support

If you use the Golflink registration screen to register players into a competition you have the facility to check a visitors handicap right there and then.
There is a check box available in
- System – Club Details – Golflink (it the registration settings section) that says “check visitors”
If this option is ticked a visitor will be swiped into a comp at which point you will get a message saying “please wait” and the correct handicap will be retrieved from Golflink.
This has particular advantages if you use scorecard printing as a visitors handicap printed on their card at registration will be up to date information.
For timesheet users there is also an option (as part of your start day procedures) to check visitors with Golflink that are on todays timesheet.
