What makes Online Member Services different to other Internet Club systems?
There are other Internet Club systems on the market, but these are free-standing systems that do not interface with your Club's existing Website, or with your Club's Membership or Accounting systems. On the other hand, for Clubs running Micropower as their Club system, Online Member Services can fully integrate with your in-house system. The advantages are numerous.
Integration with your existing Website
Online Member Services integrates seamlessly into your existing website. Pages from Online Member Services will appear just like the pages on your existing site, and will turn your Club's current site into a true focus for your members.

Online Payment of Member Accounts
Members can pay their account Online and the payment is recorded in their Member Account back at the Club, automatically. No more entry of receipts!
Easy to use
Whilst viewing the online account balances and statements, members can choose to pay one or all accounts online.
Integration with the Club system
Online Member Services provide two methods for making payments over the Internet: Credit Card and BPAY.
When the Credit Card payment method is chosen, Online Member Services will not only accept the online payment, but will deliver details of the payment to Micropower Membership running at your Club posting the receipt directly into your Member's account. This flows on to the General Ledger if your Membership is integrated.
If your member chooses to use BPAY, Online Member Services displays the Club's BPAY biller code, the Member's reference number, the amount owing, and offers a customisable link to the member's online banking site where the transaction is completed. MicroPower Membership offers a BPAY payments import, so again, no individual receipting is required.
There’s nothing more for you to do!
Well that's not quite true. You do have to print the Internet Banking Audit Trail occasionally to see what has been deposited into your Club’s account, and posted straight into your Membership Ledger and on to the General Ledger banking system.
Credit Card Charges
If your Club chooses to pass on the Credit Card charges, we can automatically calculate the amount to be paid (according to the rules you set), and this charge will be raised as an invoice back on the Club system.
We use a paypal gateway for all payments made through Online Member Services. Your merchant account must be with one of the following institutions:
- ANZ
- Commonwealth Bank
- National Australia Bank
- St George
- Westpac
Online editing of Member Personal Details
For each member, certain personal details from the Micropower Membership database can be stored on the Online Member Services Web Server.
You’re in control
The Club can nominate the fields to be displayed on the Internet.
Privacy
Individual Members can elect to have this feature suppressed to protect their privacy.
Automated upload to the Internet
As the staff at the Club update the Micropower Membership database, the system maintains the online details with a simple daily upload feature. This process can be automated using the built in Task Scheduler.
What the members see
Members can view and edit their details online. The data displayed is restricted to data that might change periodically - name, address, phone numbers, email addresses, etc,
It’s easy to merge the changes into the Club system.
When Members change their details on Online Member Services, the changes are stored on the Web Server and downloaded to the Club once a day. The office staff at the Club can view the changes submitted, and choose to accept or reject the changes, field-by-field, for inclusion on the Micropower Membership database. This is all achieved with a few mouse clicks. There is no requirement for manually re-keying the changes into Micropower.
Member History Record
When a member's record in Micropower is updated from the Internet, a Member History record is created automatically that records the specific changes posted to the Member details.
Partner List Group Bookings
Electronic Tee Bookings offers a quick method for a member to book for his or her entire group online or on the Kiosk.
Partner List
To facilitate online group bookings, each member may nominate any number of members and guests for their Partner List. The partner list is stored permanently by Online Member Services for each member.
Making a group booking
From that point on, whenever a member makes a Timesheet Booking online, they are presented with their Partner List. A mouse click or two identifies the members from the list who are to be in today’s group. From that point on, the group booking proceeds with no more effort than an individual booking. Partners are notified by email that they have been booked on the timesheet.

Members can edit their Partner list at any time.
Online Competition Results
The Online Competition Results module allows you to publish your Competition results on the Internet directly from within Micropower Golf within a few seconds of the last score being entered. It takes no more than a few mouse clicks.
Progressive Results
You can publish the results progressively, as cards are being entered throughout the day, allowing early finishers who are back home to follow their progress in the field throughout the afternoon. In this situation, the Online Competition Results becomes an Internet Leaderboard.
Result formats
Micropower can be configured to publish any one or all of three formats:
- Full Field, ungraded
- Full Field, graded
- Prize Winners
Prize Winners
The Prize Winners report can be configured to include a number of overall place-getters, a number of place-getters in each grade, the special prize winners, and the winners of the Ball competition. All the usual Micropower options are available, such as exclusion of overall winners from the Graded place-getters, exclusion of trophy winners from the Ball Competition, etc.

Online Member Services integrates with Membership
When a member updates their details on your website, the administrator can download these details (normally performed on a daily basis), view and accept these changes, and your database will automatically be updated with these changes without any data entry.
It is also important to note that if you are running Electronic Tee Bookings, the Membership module will control member category booking rights and financial status.
You can also send member messages from Micropower to your website as a batch or individually. These messages can also be viewed at the Kiosk.

Bookings that are made online are automatically and seamlessly updated in the back office in REAL TIME.
Online Member Services integrates with Golf
One click of a button in your Golf module will upload your competition results for your members to filter and view.
You can also view your ball prize ledgers online that are updated from the Golf module.
Online Member Services integrates with Financials
When a payment is made online the receipt is posted to the General Ledger and the Membership Ledger. This is one of the biggest time savings Micropower has to offer!

Your member's loyalty points ledger can be viewed online. This allows members to also see their forfeiture dates.
