Micropower External Gaming Interface
The Micropower External
Gaming Interface allows Micropower Point of Sale (POS) to reward and
redeem Loyalty Points to an External Loyalty Account system.
External Loyalty Account systems interface with Gaming Systems.
Examples of External Loyalty Account system which interface with Gaming Systems and Micropower are:
- Max Gaming/Cougar
- Turbo
- Aristocat (under development)
The Micropower Loyalty ledger is used to define the value of
points rewarded when an item is sold at the Micropower Point of sale,
and the value of points required to redeem items.
It is
important to note that when the Micropower Loyalty Ledger is
interfacing with an External Loyalty Account system, the Loyalty Points
are owned and controlled by the external system.
Therefore, all expiry of points will occur at the external system (ie. where the Loyalty Points are held). Any requirements of expiring points should be addressed with the provider of the Loyalty Account system.
Gaming Interfaces give you the opportunity of running the one loyalty system for both your Food and Beverage and your Gaming.
The External Gaming Interfaces integrate with Micropower products in the following manner:
Point of Sale
- Reward points to members’ gaming accounts.
- Redeem Points from members’ gaming accounts.
- View the member’s gaming account points balance.
Back Office Loyalty Ledger
- Post Loyalty Point adjustments to members’ gaming accounts.
- View the member’s gaming account points balance.
Golf module
- Ball prizes can be individually posted as loyalty points to members’ gaming accounts.
- Ball prizes from competitions can be posted as loyalty points directly to members’ gaming accounts.
Kiosk
- Members can look up the balance of their External Gaming Server loyalty points.
Online Member Services
- Members can look up the balance of their External Gaming Server loyalty points.
